This report summarizes the key exploration criteria that characterize individual play types in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.  Over 60 discrete play types are documented.  Using a combination of information from SCG regional studies and public domain data the report provides key criteria governing reservoir development (depositional/digenesis), geographic area or fairway and explorability.

This report is a key reference document providing for the rapid assessment of any new developments in an area.
